Ryan Siegel

Ryan Siegel Senior Director, Head of Client Delivery

Ryan is an investment operations professional with over 20 years of experience in financial services.  His focus is on business and technology transformation as well as large outsourcing initiatives for global investment managers and asset servicing firms.  Ryan possesses extensive fund operations knowledge across various asset types, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and insurance products, and he has worked with numerous industry leading technologies.  His experience includes operating model development and transformation which encompasses investment and fund operations, fund administration, performance, compliance and technology development and integration. 

While at Aliter, Ryan supported the transition of over $1 trillion in assets from multiple large global investment managers to an industry leading service provider. He spearheaded client conversion due diligence and planning efforts through to reconciliations and exception resolution.  Ryan also led the transition of an investment manager’s in-house fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting and tax functionality, consisting of $500B+ in assets, to a global asset servicing provider.  He drove execution while also engaging with servicing teams to support the efforts on the ground.

Prior to Aliter, Ryan was Vice President at a large service provider where he led the daily fund accounting and custody operations for several high-profile mutual fund clients. He also coordinated several back and middle-office client conversions.  His experience leading conversion efforts includes the transition of accounting and custody records, support of comprehensive reconciliations and exception research, and the transition of client operations through outsourcing. 

Over the past several years, Ryan has fundraised and participated in the Walk for Alzheimer’s and also volunteers at the Boston Food Bank.

Ryan received a Bachelor degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and holds an MBA in Finance from Bentley University.
