Dave Parks Director, Client Services
Dave began his career at a large asset management service provider where he held positions as a mutual fund accountant, client consultant/process improvement specialist and served as a Global Risk and Compliance Officer. Dave then transitioned to one of the Big 4 and worked in both the audit and advisory businesses. His focus was working with large financial services organizations to assess and enhance operational processes, internal operational controls and develop technology strategies.
Dave has worked extensively with asset/wealth managers, broker dealers, insurance organizations, and banks. He also supported industry service providers including fund accounting providers, fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents and retirement recordkeepers supporting product strategies, process improvement, cost analysis and operational and compliance risk management initiatives. Dave liaised with several mutual fund board organizations on board matters, emerging industry trends, SEC matters, mutual fund related fee strategies and annual board fee approvals under SEC Section 15(c).
Since joining Aliter, Dave partnered with a large asset manager to help design a target state operating model related to their transfer agent services. In addition, Dave recently performed engagements for large industry service providers to evaluate custody fee trends and develop use cases related to data and technology services.
Dave has been an active member of the Nicsa organization for over 30 years where he was a board member and committee chair working to plan and participate on industry conference panels covering emerging issues, operational strategies and industry diversity initiatives.
Dave is a graduate of Boston College.
